The late Park Won-soon, former Mayor of Seoul City Mayor Park Won-soon, who used the expression’victims’ for sexual harassment victims, along with Democratic Party lawmakers Kim Young-seon Park Young-seon, who used the expression “victim victims,” both resigned from the camp. On the evening of the 18th, Rep. Nam said to Standing Chairman Ahn Gyu-baek, “I deeply apologize for the pain to the victim and sincerely hope that the victim can recover their daily life.”

A few hours before Rep. Nam announced his intention to resign, Rep. Ko and Rep. Jin gave up the positions of spokesman for Park Young-seon, Seoul Mayor’s Candidate Camp, and co-seondae head office. Rep. Go said on Facebook that day, “I bow my head and apologize for causing pain to the victim through my wrong thoughts.” Congressman Jin also said on Facebook, “Now I ask the victim for forgiveness. I sincerely wish that my daily life can be completely restored.”

The three lawmakers were controversial by referring to the victims of the late Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon as’the victims’. The sexual harassment victim referred to the three lawmakers the day before and said, “I hope candidate Park Young-seon will tingly punish me so that the lawmakers who named me the victims themselves apologize to me.” They also demanded disciplinary action at the party level.
