(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Jinnam Bae = Veteran defender Park Joo-ho (34) from the national team is leaving Ulsan Hyundai, an Asian professional football champion.

On the 2nd, Park Joo-ho posted a photo on his social network service (SNS) with a post titled’The Last Photo in Ulsan’ to announce his goodbye to Ulsan.

Park Joo-ho expressed his gratitude to not only his fellow players, but also the club support team and officials who have been supporting the team at the clubhouse, “I hope you will receive compensation and treatment as you have suffered from this year.”

I didn’t forget to say hello to Ulsan fans.

Park Joo-ho wrote, “Thank you so much for our Ulsan fans,” “I’ll greet you again, but I’m so happy that I can make everyone laugh at the end, and I’m going to leave with a light heart.”

Park Joo-ho, who played in 40 matches (one goal) in A-match as a national team after being represented by age group, began his career as a professional player in the Japanese J2 League Mito Holly Hawk in 2008.

After playing for Kashima Antlers, Jubilo Iwata (above Japan), FC Basel in Switzerland, Mainz in Germany and Dortmund, he signed a four-year contract with Ulsan in December 2017.

In Ulsan, he played 52 games in the K-League over the past three years and recorded 2 assists.

Last year, he played only 12 games (one help) in the regular league due to injuries, but played an active part in the Asian Football Federation (AFC) Champions League (ACL), helping Ulsan retake the top of the tournament after 8 years.

Immediately after winning the AFC Champions League, Ulsan, who had not renewed a contract with former coach Kim Do-hoon, appointed manager Hong Myung-bo to make a new board, and agreed to leave with Park Joo-ho for one year, but without a transfer fee.

Park Joo-ho is known to wear the Suwon FC uniform, promoted to K-League 1 (Part 1) this year.

As Park Joo-ho, who returned to Korea on the 20th of last month from Qatar, where the AFC Champions League was held, is lifted from self-isolation on the 3rd, 2 weeks at noon on the 3rd, the joining process for Suwon FC is expected to be completed soon.
