When the prosecution maintains its existing position in the case of’Han Myung-sook’ in the case of the investigation and command by Justice Minister Park Beom-gye (pictured), “Look again,” there is interest whether Park will accept it. It is expected that it will be difficult to overturn this, as Minister Park said earlier that the prosecution will accept the opinion even if it maintains the existing opinion of no charge.
On the 21st, the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office said, “We decided to remain innocent in the case of alleged perjury related to the former prime minister, which went through a meeting of the vice presidents of the Supreme Swordsman on the 20th, and reported this to the Ministry of Justice.” The Ministry of Justice did not respond to this. It is known that it has not been decided whether Minister Park will announce its position.
Rather than directly criticizing the decision, it is predicted that Park will indirectly pressure the decision through the joint inspection of the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office and the Office of the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office. This is because there is no reason to overturn this because he said that he would accept any conclusions at the Supreme Swordsman’s Meeting through the Prosecutor General of Justice Lee Jeong-soo at a briefing for the initiation of the investigation and command authority on the 17th.
However, there is a high possibility that the joint inspection of the Ministry of Justice and the Great Swordsman will come to a different conclusion than that of the High Prosecutors’ Office and the Great Swordsman’s Vice Presidents’ Meeting. Prosecutors at the Ministry of Justice Ryu-hyuk and Chief Prosecutors at the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office Han Dong-soo, who will conduct joint prosecution, have already revealed that there were problems such as inappropriate investigation practices in this case.
After investigating the case, the prosecution policy researcher Im Eun-jeong (the chief prosecutor) said through his SNS, “I am grateful that it was not unanimous as in the meeting of the great prosecutors, and I will bravely prepare for tomorrow.”
