Petitioner claimed that Yoon Jeong-hee was suffering from Alzheimer’s and diabetes alone in an apartment outside Paris without being cared for by her spouse, separated from her husband, and disconnected from the outside without a caregiver. In response, on the 7th, in a statement released through his agency, Paik, Geon-woo refuted that “the content of the petition is false and unfounded” and requested that we refrain from malicious postings or speculative reports. “Unlike the content of the post, Jung-hee Yoon is living a comfortable and stable life with regular doctor visits and treatments.” He also emphasized that “all the limited phone calls and appointments mentioned in the post were decided under the judgment of the court.” The controversy is growing even more as the couple’s acquaintances, close friends, and other parties’ conflicting claims are added. This is the reason why there is a prospect that Paik Kun-woo will return to Korea and additionally express his position to correct the situation and clear up the situation.
