A 56-year-old office worker working near Seoul Station prayed over white chrysanthemums in his eyes, blushing.

Mr. A said, “I was a college student who helped the election when I ran for the presidential election in 1987,” and “I hope you’ll be honored because you took the initiative as an elder of the democratization movement and struggled until the end.”

Artist Gong Ji-young also said, “I remember going to my teacher’s house when I was in college and giving my first car as a car exclusively for the teacher’s presidential candidate.”
