With more than 100 confirmed cases of a novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) in Seoul, on the 14th, the cumulative number of confirmed cases exceeded 30,000.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, as of 6 p.m. on that day, the cumulative corona 19 confirmed in the city was 351. Compared to the standard of 0 o’clock that day, the number increased by 102 in 18 hours.
This is an increase of 20 people from the previous day (13th) from 0 o’clock to 6 p.m. compared to 82 confirmed cases. On the previous day, 30 people were added from 6 pm to 12 pm, and a total of 112 confirmed cases per day.
It was only 416 days after the first confirmed case on January 23 last year that the cumulative corona 19 confirmed in Seoul was recorded.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul rose to 5,000 on September 21 last year, and surpassed 10,000 on December 5 last year. It took 242 days to record 5,000 and 317 days to record 10,000.
It was on January 3 that the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul exceeded 20,000. More than 10,000 confirmed cases were added again 29 days after recording the cumulative number of cases in the 10,000 range. Since then, the spread has been somewhat reduced, and the number of confirmed cases has reached 30,000 in 70 days after the outbreak.
Looking at the additional confirmed patients by major infection route that day, three people related to group infection at a restaurant in Yeongdeungpo-gu were added. Accordingly, the cumulative number of related confirmed cases increased to 45. Two additional confirmed cases related to medical institutions in Guro-gu increased to 16.
In addition, 1 person related to children’s facilities in Dobong-gu (24 people cumulatively), 1 person related to’Gwangmun FC’ sports club’Gwangmun FC’ in Gangdong-gu, Gangdong-gu, 1 person (23 people cumulatively) related to daycare center located in Dobong-gu (10 people cumulatively). There were 6 confirmed cases of other group infections. There were 14 confirmed cases of infection after contact with confirmed cases in other cities and provinces.
The number of confirmed cases due to’contact with previous confirmed cases’ due to contact with existing confirmed cases was counted as 48. The route of infection for the remaining 26 confirmed cases has not yet been identified.
