Financial Supervisory Governor Yoon Seok-heon said, “The possibility of canceling the contract has been reviewed for a long time and is almost in the final stage” regarding the Optimus Fund. Like the Lime Trade Finance Fund, if a contract cancellation is applied to the Optimus Fund, investors will be able to get 100% of the principal back.
Director Yoon answered the question of Justice Party lawmaker Bae Jin-kyo at the plenary meeting of the Political Affairs Committee held in the National Assembly on the 17th. The FSS has considered whether to cancel the contract because the Optimus Fund is a fraudulent fund.
Unlike Optimus Fund, Italy Healthcare Fund is unlikely to apply contract cancellation. Regarding the sales manager of the Italian healthcare fund, Yun said, “I confirmed that I lived overseas and made a phone call,” and said, “We are planning to notify the prosecution.”
