Jaebosun D-16 JoongAng Ilbo Public Opinion Survey
In the aftermath of the LH incident, the “regime judgment theory” was strong, but those in their 40s still had a strong propensity to support the ruling party. In addition to the 4·7 re-election poll conducted by the JoongAng Ilbo to Ipsos, a polling company, the Democratic Party’s candidate Park Young-seon has the margin of error in both the virtual bilateral confrontation between the People’s Power Candidate Se-hoon Oh and the Nationalist Party Candidate Chul-soo Ahn. I searched outside.
Seoul 40s, Park Young-sun over 49% supported
Prior to Candidate Se-Hoon Oh and Chul-Soo Ahn unification
Busan-do Kim Young-chun 49% Park Hyeong-jun 37%
By age group, however, Park was ahead of opposition candidates with 48.6% (Park Young-seon) vs. 44.8% (Ahn Cheol-soo), 52.4% (Park Young-sun) vs. 36.9% (Oh Se-hoon), respectively, in their 40s.

This same phenomenon also appeared in Busan. In Busan as a whole, candidate Park Hyung-jun, the power of the people, was 51.2%, and the Democratic Party candidate Kim Young-chun (28.6%) greatly outpaced the Democratic Party candidate Kim Young-chun (28.6%). However, it is different from Seoul in that candidate Kim had the upper hand over Park with 34.9% (Kim Young-chun) vs. 30.4% (Park Hyeong-jun) in their 30s in Busan.
Regarding the propensity of voters in their 40s to support the ruling party, Eom Kyung-young, head of the Institute for Era and Spirit, said, “It is because the people in their 40s share opposition to the conservative party.” Director Eom said, “After entering the society in the present 40s, which was born in the 1970s, the US military armored vehicle case, against the impeachment of former President Roh Moo-hyun, against the mad cow disease, and the impeachment of Gukjeong Nongdan,” said “The emotional community formed by sharing these experiences was the situation in the motherland. And, even in real estate issues, it is always to protect President Moon Jae-in.”
Meanwhile, among the Seoul voters, 57.7% of respondents with a moderate tendency who hold the key to victory and defeat said they agree with the regime judgment theory. Only 28.9% of them were in favor of the theory of national stability. For each sub-region of Seoul, 62.7% of respondents in Gangnam, Seocho, Songpa, and Gangdong-gu, where the tax burden is relatively large, recorded a figure that was about 10 percentage points higher than in other regions in favor of the regime judgment theory.
In Busan, 53.7% of the middle class and 45.8% of the shaman chose the regime judgment theory. By region, voters in the Geumjeong and Haeundae areas (59.5%) demanded more strongly than the other Busan areas.
