Only immigrant women from the Philippines managed to… Lost mother with two children
In a residential area in Wonju, Gangwon-do, a grandmother from a multicultural family and two young grandchildren aged 9 and 7 died. The fire from the next door caught on, but the road was so narrow that even a fire truck could not enter, so I had a hard time extinguishing the fire. Neighbors said they were bright children, and my grandmother came in from the Philippines for only a year, but I couldn’t talk to her because of regret that this happened.

Today (31st) around 3 am, a house in Wonju, Gangwon-do, lit up and spread to the next door.

Next door was a woman in her thirties from the Philippines, Mr. Fumo, two children, and Mr. Fu’s mother.
Mr. Fu managed to get out, but his two children and his mother couldn’t.
My second son was about to enter elementary school this year.

The house was all burnt, leaving only the walls.
The houses behind me are the scenes of the fire.
Now it’s blocked from getting in. As you can see, this neighborhood is high in rent and narrow roads.
The fire truck couldn’t get in, so I had to connect a hose to a nearby fire hydrant and spray water.
Mr. Fu established himself in Korea when he married a Korean man 10 years ago.
Mr. Fu’s mother, who was in the Philippines, came to Korea last year and lived with her while looking after her children.

It was a catastrophe after a month after my husband went to China to work.
The police believe that the oil stove was on fire due to the fall and will investigate the exact cause of the fire through a joint analysis with related authorities tomorrow.
