“It’s a pancake face and eats cockroaches, dogs, cats, and monkey brains. It’s smelly and disgusting.”

After a series of incidents in which’hate letters’ aimed at Asians were delivered in the United States, the police began an investigation. On the 26th (local time), California’s local broadcaster NBC4 reported that the California Riverside police recently launched an investigation into the Asian hate letter case.

According to local police, an anonymous hate letter was delivered to a nail shop in Riverside on the 21st. Following the recent violent crimes targeting the elderly and women of Asian origin, there have also been criminal acts of indiscriminately sending “hate letters” to Asian-run stores and students.

The person who sent the hate letter anonymously threatened to “display this letter in the store for customers and employees to see” to the nail shop owner, and “go back to your terrible country, leave the United States.”

After receiving the hate letter, Vietnamese-American Jackie Boo released the letter on his social media and urged him to stop doing this. The same letter was also sent to other Asian-run nail shops in Healdsburg and San Bernardino, California.

Earlier, a Korean woman living in Silvertown, Orange County, California, also received hate letters. On the day of her husband’s funeral, the woman’s anonymous letter contained threats: “One less Asian. Pack up and return to your country.”

“This letter is disgusting and unacceptable,” said Ryan Railsback, Riverside Police Public Affairs Officer, and is tracking the sender.

Meanwhile, the online’hate letter’ for Asian students is also on the rise. A high school Asian student in Loklin, Placer County, California, also received an SNS message stating that “you are not welcome here.” The education authorities issued a statement and said, “We are conducting an internal investigation,” and said, “If the caller is identified, they will be disciplined,” local newspaper Sacramentoby said.

On the 13th, in Arkansas, a white fire chief quarreled and assaulted an Asian man. The fire chief resigned from the fire chief after being accused of third-degree assault. The victims and lawyers urged the fire chief to apply the’hate crime charges’.
