If the number of confirmed cases per day falls below the 400-500 range, there is a possibility of a downward adjustment in the distance-taking stage.
Sohn Young-rae, head of the Social Strategy Division, Central Accident Control Headquarters, at a regular briefing on Corona 19 on the 10th, said, “Only by reducing the size of the outbreak as much as possible by the 17th, we can carefully ease quarantine measures.” I ask you to do so and minimize contact between people.”

This is interpreted as a means of easing the collective ban from the 18th, if the corona19 decline is maintained until the 2.5th stage of distancing the metropolitan area (2nd stage for non-metropolitan areas) and the 17th, the deadline for special quarantine measures during the year-end and New Year holidays.

In fact, the average daily average of Corona 19 in Korea for the last week recorded 738.1, a decrease of 193.2 from 931.3 the previous week. The average daily occurrence in Korea over the age of 60 was 247.6, down 36.5 from 284.1 the previous week.
The number of new group outbreaks also decreased significantly from 46 cases in the previous week to 10 cases per week, and the ratio of management in the quarantine network increased from 35.2% to 40.2%.
However, in order to reduce the level of social distancing, the average number of confirmed patients per week must fall to less than 400-500. Although the number of confirmed patients per day has decreased to 600 due to the recent decrease in test volume on the weekend, it is unclear whether it will drop to less than 400 by the 17th.
However, considering the economic damage of small business owners due to prolonged high-intensity distancing, the people’s quarantine fatigue, and the spreading quarantine resistance, even if the current level of distancing is maintained, the collective ban is expected to be greatly eased.
