Phase 3 clinical trials of this NovaVax vaccine will begin in the United States, and results are expected within the first quarter of next year.

US pharmaceutical company NovaVax today announced that it has started a phase 3 clinical trial of a corona vaccine in the United States and Mexico.
Test results are expected to come out within the first quarter of next year.
The NovaVax vaccine, like Pfizer’s vaccine, needs to be given twice every three weeks, but it differs in that it can be stored in a general refrigerator.

“It will be much easier to distribute globally, as it can be stored at normal refrigerator temperatures.”
It is the fifth in the United States to enter the final stage, Phase 3, after Pfizer, Modena, and AstraZeneca.
The Korean government is already negotiating to purchase 10 million NovaVax vaccines, and the UK has signed a contract to purchase 30 million.
The U.S. health authorities are also tense as the corona 19 mutant virus, first discovered in the UK, has spread worldwide.
“There is no evidence that you are in the United States, but it is possible that you are already in,” said Assistant Secretary of Health and Welfare Brett Giroer in an ABC interview.
However, experts do not see the mutant virus as particularly serious.

“Will the mutant virus make it sicker? Is it more toxic? The answer is that it doesn’t seem that way.”
In the United States, which is already heading towards 20 million infected people, the number of corona hospitalized patients exceeding 100,000 on the 26th is approaching the limit that hospitals can afford.
