Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myeong predicted the future political progress of former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol on the 4th, and said, “I hope that we will do political activities that help the people through rational competition.” This is the day when the results showed that Governor Lee took first place and Former President Yoon ranked third in the presidential candidate suitability survey.

Governor Lee appeared on KBS Radio’s’Joo Jin-woo Live’ and said, “It’s complicated. I want to emphasize the responsibility of the appointed public officials from the elected power.” “You have to be aware of the fact that you haven’t played a role in making and exercising power.”

Regarding Yoon’s future actions, he said, “Now, as a citizen, I will fully enjoy political freedom, express enough, and eventually do politics.”

On the same day, four public opinion polls, including Embrain, Casestat, Korea Research, and Korea Research, announced the results of a national indicator survey conducted on 1,004 men and women over the age of 18 across the country on the 1st to 3rd.

The degree of fit for the presidential election was followed by Governor Lee (27%), Democratic Party representative Lee Nak-yeon (12%), and former president Yun (9%). However, since the investigation was conducted before former President Yun expressed his appreciation, the changes in public sentiment afterwards were not reflected.

The sample error of this survey is ±3.1% at a 95% confidence level. For detailed information on the survey, refer to the website of the Central Election Survey Deliberation Committee.
