The National Intelligence Service provided relevant records to the 5 18 Fact Investigation Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Fact Investigation Committee), including photographs supporting the statement that “the first firing was made on an armored wheeled vehicle” during the May 18 Democratization Movement. It includes 204 photos, including information on early protest students, armored wheeled vehicles, and 1,242 pages of 22 records.
On the 5th, the NIS said, “For the investigation of the facts of the May 18 Democratization Movement, records and photos were additionally provided to the 5 18 Fact Investigation Committee.” This is the fourth material provided.” This time, the NIS provided 832 pages of 17 reports that the Central Intelligence Agency collected and produced trends in each of the domestic sectors at the time, and 5 410 pages of data, including reports from overseas media reports and reports of responses from foreign intelligence agencies that reported the domestic situation at the time.
