The National Intelligence Service announced on the 5th that it has additionally provided relevant records, including photos of the 5·18 democratization movement, to the 5·18 Fact-Finding Investigation Committee (Fact-Finding Committee). Among the 204 reviewed photos, photos of the protest students in the early May 18th period and a wheeled armored vehicle were included. Except for that armored vehicle, all other armored vehicles of the martial law army were of track type, and this is very meaningful as data to support the contents of the literature.” The NIS also provided additional photos to the Fact-Investigation Committee of the students who participated in the protests being taken by airborne troops or prone with their heads on the ground.
