According to foreign media such as USA Today and People on the 5th (local time), Nicholas Cage married Japanese lover Riko Shibata, 26, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on the 16th of last month.

Nicholas Cage said through his agent, “It is true that we are married. We are very happy.”

The marriage took place on the birthday of the deceased Nicholas Cage’s father, and Niko Shibata, a Japanese, wore a kimono.

Riko Shibata is known to have given Nicholas Cage’s stage name, Cage, after her name after marriage. The list of marriage declarations in Clark County, Nevada lists Shibata’s name as Riko Cage.

The two met in Japan about a year ago and developed into lovers.

Earlier, Nicholas Cage appeared on the radio hosted by his brother Mark Coppola, and said that Riko Shibata had not met Shibata for six months while returning to Kyoto, Japan.

Meanwhile, Nicolas Cage has been married and divorced four times so far.

In April 1995, he married his first wife, Patricia Arquette, and divorced in 2001. In 2002, she remarried Elvis Presley’s daughter, Marie Presley, but divorced that year and ended their relationship in 2004.
