Accordingly, Nexon’s mobile game sales grew by 60% compared to the same period of the previous year, and the proportion of sales expanded to 33%, the company explained.


PC games also continued to have a solid track record from last year.
MapleStory, which celebrated its 17th anniversary last year, led sales growth in both domestic and global markets. Sales of this game recorded a high growth rate of 98% compared to the same period last year in Korea, and also in North America, Europe, and Asia and South America increased 134% and 85%, respectively.
Dungeon & Fighter also recorded a 55% increase in sales compared to the same period last year in Korea, with continuous new dungeon updates and major character level expansion.
FIFA Online 4 led the sales growth of the PC game division by introducing new contents such as clubs and training coaches, and various contents such as the addition of icon classes and balance reorganization through two large-scale updates in summer and winter.



Nexon plans to target the market with IP expansion and new works in various genres in order to further grow into a global company.

Earlier this month, Nexon announced that it would improve salary increases and incentives to strengthen organizational power.
Nexon decided to increase the starting salary for new recruits to 50 million won for the development workers and 45 million won for the non-development workers, and to increase the annual salaries of the incumbent employees by 8 million won.
