According to the Ministry of Environment on the 17th, applications for future environmental industry promotion loans for small and medium-sized companies related to environment will start on the 18th.
A total of 400 billion won was raised this year for the future environmental industry promotion loan that supports small and medium-sized environmental enterprises. Last year, an additional 200 billion won in future environmental industry promotion loans was urgently organized to support small environmental companies suffering from Corona 19.
This loan will support small and medium-sized environmental companies, etc., at low interest rates of 1% per year for 5 to 10 years. 300 billion won is provided for the environmental industry and 100 billion won for the green conversion field.
The environmental industry sector provides funding for the installation and management of small and medium-sized environmental enterprises. Applications for loan support will be accepted from the 18th to the 27th so that small recycling companies, etc., who are suffering from financial difficulties due to the overall economic downturn, can receive support from before the Lunar New Year holiday.
In the field of green transition, funding for the installation and operation of environmental pollution prevention facilities and greenhouse gas reduction facilities for small and medium-sized enterprises is supported. In particular, this year, it plans to actively induce a green transition by allocating 20 billion won to the greenhouse gas reduction facility field. Applications for loans in the field of green conversion are planned to be received in February, considering the procedure for securing financial resources through private financial institutions. Small and medium-sized companies wishing to apply for a loan can access the Environmental Policy Fund Support System, fill out a loan application, and submit it. After that, through screening, loan approval and funding are made.
