A new mutant novel coronavirus has been discovered in Japan. It is a different form from the mutant virus found in the UK or South Africa.

Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare announced on the 10th that it was revealed on the 10th that four men and women who entered Japan through Haneda Airport on the 2nd were infected with Corona 19, a mutation different from those found in Britain or South Africa.

Those who arrived from Brazil were tested positive for Corona 19 in airport quarantine, and the National Institute of Infectious Diseases conducted genetic analysis on their samples, and it was confirmed as a new mutant virus. The National Institute of Infectious Diseases has so far found common mutations with mutant viruses found in the UK and South Africa, but it is considered a different virus and is investigating its propagation power. NHK said this is the first time this new type of mutant virus has been identified in Japan.

Meanwhile, according to NHK statistics, as of 8 pm on the 10th, 6076 new cases of Corona 19 have been reported across Japan. Japan’s Corona 19 confirmed one day fell to 7,000 on the last 7 to 9 days for three consecutive days, and then decreased to 6,000 on that day, but it was the highest on Sunday. The cumulative number of corona 19 confirmed in Japan has increased to 28,9458.
