[사진 출처 = 연합뉴스]The number of confirmed daily cases of the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) in Korea, which has recently dropped to the 200 level, has risen to 400 in six days due to group infections such as religious facilities and academies the day before.
On the 10th, the Central Defense Response Headquarters announced that as of 0 o’clock on the day, the number of new corona19 confirmed cases in Korea increased by 444, accumulating 81932. 141 people increased from the previous day (303 people). Among the confirmed cases, 414 cases were local and 30 were imported from abroad.
The number of new confirmed cases, which fell to the late 200s over the last weekend and holidays, is showing an increase again as sporadic infections have occurred in religious facilities, academies, and ballrooms. In particular, the quarantine authorities are tightly tense about whether re-proliferation will occur ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
From the 3rd to the last week, the number of new confirmed cases by day is 467 → 451 → 370 → 393 → 372 → 289 → 303 → 444. During this period, 200 units were numbered one, 300 units were numbered four times, and 400 units were numbered three times.
The total number of confirmed cases was 344 in the metropolitan area, including Seoul 169, Gyeonggi 157, and Incheon 18. The confirmed cases in the metropolitan area accounted for 83.1% of all confirmed cases in the area.
In the non-capital area, there were 18 in Busan, 14 in each of Daegu and Gwangju, 9 in Gyeongnam, 5 in Gangwon, 2 in each of Chungbuk, Chungnam, Jeonbuk, and Gyeongbuk, and 1 in each of Sejong and Jeonnam. There were a total of 70 confirmed cases of outbreaks in the non-metropolitan area, maintaining double digits for a week since the last 4 days.
The number of deaths increased by 4 from the previous day to 1486. The average fatality rate in Korea is 1.81%. The number of patients with severe gastric disorders decreased by 5 from the previous day to a total of 184.
In the case of major infections, 53 people were tested positive at the Yeongsaenggyo Seunggyo Altar and Ohjeong Ability Training Academy in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do. It was found that 20 people including Shinto at the Seungri Altar and 33 people including students and instructors at the tutoring academy were infected.
The religious facility and the academy were found to have an epidemiological relationship with the same confirmed person.
In addition, new cases of infection with daily spaces such as Seoul Dongdaemun-gu Hospital (accumulated 14 people), Goyang-si martial arts hall (12), Goyang-si restaurants (13), etc.
The quarantine authorities announced that the cumulative confirmed number as of 0 o’clock the previous day was 81,487, but it was corrected to 8,1486, excluding one that was counted twice during the quarantine process on the 8th.
