Parsons and Luchinski set out to build the NC dynasty by making a foreign one-two punch.

NC Dinos signed Wes Parsons 28 on the 11th and finished the 2021 season as a foreign player. The contract was signed for about 6,58 million won ($80,000 down payment + $320,000 annual salary + $200,000 incentive).

Parsons, with a good physical condition of 196cm and 93kg, is a right-handed three-quarter pitcher who throws a lot of movement and has excellent ground ball guidance. The average fastball restraint is 151 km/h and uses four-seam, two-seam, slider, and changeup.

Parsons signed in 2012 with the MLB Atlanta Braves as an amateur free agent (FA).

Parsons, who debuted in the big leagues in 2018, scored 1-3 with an average ERA of 5.67 with 39 games and 2/3 innings. In Triple A, he was responsible for 153 innings in 47 games, including 15 starting games, and scored an ERA of 9-7, 5 saves and an ERA of 3.41.

“Parsons is a pitcher with a good pitch and a good pitch, and we expect to give more stability to the starting rotation,” said Lim Sun-nam, head of the data team.

Parsons said, “I’m happy to be on the winning team last year. I think the greatest virtue of being a player is to dedicate myself to the team and do my best to help the team win.” It’s my job to do.”

He said, “I’m very friendly with the KBO League. I didn’t have much sleep in the morning, so I woke up and watched TV broadcasts from the dawn of last year.” I will do my best to improve and try to adapt quickly.”

Parsons will return to Korea as soon as he is issued a visa, self-isolate in Changwon, and join the team training.
