This is a result of the popularity of the Netflix original series’Sweet Home’ based on Naver Webtoon and the tvN drama’Goddess Advent’.
Regardless of genre and subject matter, webtoons and web novels of interest are expected to be produced in dramas, movies, and animations.
The webtoon’Hell’, which was introduced by director Yeon Sang-ho of the academy zombie webtoon’Now Our School’ and the movie’To Busan,’ with author Choi Gyu-seok, will be produced as a video series.
JTBC’s new Monday-Tuesday drama’Senior, Don’t Apply That Lipstick’, scheduled to be broadcast in January of the new year, is based on the Naver series web novel. A film about the heart-beating romance of perfect straight juniors and perfectionist seniors, actors Won Jin-ah and Rowoon appear.
The TVN new drama’Live Together’, scheduled to air in the first half of 2021, is also based on Naver Webtoon of the same name. Webtoon is a popular work that has steadily maintained the top ranks of Thursday webtoons until its recent completion. The story of Gumiho’Shinwoo,’ who has lived for hundreds of years to become a human being, is deprived of a fox ball by a college student’Idam’ by an accident in a situation where the goal is not yet reached.
