According to the British Guardian on the 24th of the local time, Leonid Volkov, leader of the Russian opposition party, said, “One side of Navalni’s leg is numb and suffers from severe back pain.”
He added, “Health has deteriorated rapidly and this makes Navalni unable to stand up.” Currently, Navalni is confined in an IK-2 prison in Vladimir, Russia. It is known as a prison, notorious for its cruelty.
Olga Mihailova, Navalni’s lawyer, insisted that Navalni was not getting the right care. “The neurologist didn’t tell me what was wrong with Navalni,” he told AFP. “I just prescribed ibuprofen (anti-inflammatory analgesic).”
“The pain medication did not help, and this caused Navalni’s leg to be paralyzed on the 23rd,” he added. “He needs to see an appropriate doctor.”
