Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalni was taken to a medical facility after showing signs of deteriorating health. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an amendment to the “long-term” election law.

According to foreign media such as ABC News on the 5th of the local time, Navalni said through her SNS that she had a severe cough and high fever.

He wrote on social media, “I cite official data measured by the prison authorities,” and “Navalni, strong cough, 38.1 degrees.” “Three out of 15 people in the ward were hospitalized for tuberculosis,” he added.

Currently, Navalni is struggling with hunger for back pain and leg paralysis, but not receiving adequate treatment. ABC News said, “Most high fevers above 38 degrees are due to infection or disease.”

The Russian daily Izvestiya reported that “Navalni has been moved to a medical facility.” Regarding the reason for the transfer, he said, “Because Navalni showed signs of high fever and respiratory disease.”

Navalni, who is called Putin’s static, is imprisoned for two years and six months. After recovering from poisoning, he returned home and was arrested for violating the terms of probation previously sentenced for fraud. The Russian government is behind poison poisoning, but authorities have denied it.

In the meantime, President Putin finally signed a bill that would allow him to serve as president two more times.

On the 5th local time, Russia’s TASS news agency reported that the amendment to the election law went into effect with President Putin’s signature. The term of office prior to the amendment is not included in the amendment.

So, President Putin has two more chances to run. Two more times, all of them will be in power for 32 years. In the past, the Soviet Union’s Communist Party Secretary Stalin has been in office for 30 years and 6 months. President Putin has served as the third president of Russia in 2000 and has served as the seventh president. The term of office is up to 24 years.
