In a poll asking the preferences of the next political leader, Gyeonggi Governor Lee Jae-myung’s approval rating rose, and the’first-power independent system’ was found to stand out. Lee Nak-yeon, who had established the’Third-Strong Structure’ that had been established until the end of last year, and the preferences of Democratic Party representative and Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol declined this year, widening the gap with this governor. On the 5th, the polling agency Gallup Korea asked 1002 adults across the country on the 2nd to 4th,’who thinks it is good for the next presidential feeling’ (confidence level 95%, sample error ±3.1% points). He said he had chosen a branch office. This was followed by Lee (10%), President Yoon (9%), National Assembly Representative Ahn Chul-soo (5%), and independent lawmaker Hong Jun-pyo (2%). Compared to the survey a month ago, the preference for this branch increased by 4 percentage points, while the preference for President Yun fell by 4 percentage points, falling to a single digit in three months after the survey in November last year. Representative Lee Nak-yeon made a tie with his preference (10%) last month, which fell sharply last month, widening the gap with Lee Governor. Representative Ahn’s preference rose 2 percentage points. The preference of this branch was high in Incheon and Gyeonggi (41%), men (35%), and 40s (38%), and CEO Lee was in Gwangju and Jeolla (29%), women (13%), and 60s and older. It was relatively high at (14%), explained Gallup Korea. In addition, even in the Democratic Party support group, the Governor’s preference was 45%, far ahead of Lee (23%). Although Governor Lee’s monopoly system is gradually solidifying, the anticipation for the next presidential election was slightly ahead of the regime maintenance theory (40%) in favor of the governmental change (46%) calling for the’opposition candidate election’.

On the other hand, about President Moon Jae-in’s job performance, 39% said he was doing well, and 52% said he was doing wrong. The job positive rate rose 1 percentage point from the previous week, and the negative rate was the same as the previous week. As for party support, the Democratic Party (36%), the People’s Strength (22%), the Justice Party (5%), and the People’s Party (4%) were in order. The shamans were 28%. The approval rating of Seoul, where the by-election is held in April, was 36% for the Democratic Party and 21% for the people’s power. In the case of Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, the power of the people was 34%, outpacing the Democratic Party (26%). In this survey, Gallup Korea asked for a position on the construction of a new airport on Gadeok Island, which will be an issue of the Busan Mayor’s re-election. 33% of all respondents agreed and 37% disapproved, indicating that there were slightly more objections within the margin of error.
