With 115 corona19 confirmed cases in Jingwan Industrial Complex in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do, Gyeonggi-do urgently dispatched 18 epidemiological investigators to respond immediately.
According to Gyeonggi-do on the 17th, 115 employees were judged positive at a plastic manufacturer in the Jingwan Industrial Complex in Namyangju as of 15:00 on that day. Of these, 106 are foreigners.
Earlier, on the 13th, the company’s worker A, who was examined at the Soonchunhyang University Seoul Hospital in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, was confirmed as confirmed, and on the 16th, 177 employees were tested in full.
169 people were tested, 115 were positive, 46 were negative, and 8 are waiting for the results. One out of eight people who could not be tested is due to be tested, and seven are in constant contact because they have not been able to reach them.
In particular, it is believed that many of them who did not go to their home country during the Lunar New Year holiday have left factories and industrial complexes, raising concerns about the spread in the region.

On the 17th, a total of 18 epidemiological investigators, including Gyeonggi Province and the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, were dispatched to the site to conduct individual in-depth epidemiological investigations and company site risk assessments. The on-site risk assessment is to evaluate the risk level, such as the additional spread of Corona 19, in the event of a group outbreak, and the opinion of the epidemiological investigator is attached.
The province has transported 115 people who were positively judged to life treatment centers, etc., and is currently shutting down factory facilities and conducting environmental examinations.
A provincial official said, “Currently, a temporary screening clinic is installed in the industrial complex to conduct a total survey of 1,200 employees of tenant companies, and additional measures will be taken after an in-depth epidemiological investigation and determining whether there is an infection risk in neighboring companies.”
In this regard, Jo Kwang-han, Mayor of Namyangju City, said, “With the cooperation of the police, the site was closed from the morning,” and said, “With the cooperation of the police, a total of 1,39 workers from 59 companies in the Jingwan Industrial Complex were able to take samples here. We have now taken steps to receive it.”
