Canadian Hollywood actress Elliott Page, 34, who revealed she was transgender and changed from female to male, made a cover for Time magazine in the US current affairs week.
Time magazine released an interview with the cover photo of the Elliott page on the 16th (local time).
Elliott Page recalled when he was coming out of transgender people, “I felt really excited and deeply grateful for reaching this point in my life,” he said. “It was a mixture of fear and anxiety.”
He added, “After coming out, I received a lot of love and support, but at the same time I received tremendous hatred and transphobia (transgender hatred), which essentially happened.”
He said, “I vividly remember the joy I felt after cutting my hair short at the age of 9,” he said. “As I walked on the path of a child actor at the age of 10, I had to grow my hair and dress up as an actress. I couldn’t see it,” he confessed.
Elliott Page said he had recently had a breast removal surgery. According to Time magazine, at the time of coming out at the end of last year, Elliott Page was recovering in Toronto after surgery. Elliot Page emphasized, “Before, I was feeling uncomfortable in my body, but my energy was used up, but when I looked in the mirror after surgery, I finally recognized myself,” he said. “It completely changed my life.”
Meanwhile, the Elliott page on his Facebook page in December last year, “I want to inform you that I am trans (gender),” and “The words that refer to me are’he’ or’they’, and my name is’Elliot’.” I have delivered news of gender change.
Elliott Page was active under the name of Ellen Page before sex change, and appeared in the movies’Juno’,’Inception’ and’X-Men: The Last War’, making her face known in Korea. He recently appeared in the Netflix drama’Umbrella Academy’ series.
