Hollywood actress Elliot Page, 33, from Canada, divorces Emma Fortner, who was a same-sex lover, while revealing she is transgender.

CNN reported on the 26th (local time) that Elliott Page and Emma Fortner recently filed divorce documents after separation from last summer.

According to reports, the two said in an official statement, “After distress, we made a difficult decision to divorce after separation last summer,” and “We decided to respect each other as much as possible and remain close friends.”

Particularly, the news of the divorce spread after two months after Elliot Page’s transgender came out from a woman to a man, and it is a wave of waves. In December of last year, he said, “I want to inform you that I am trans (gender).”

Afterwards, Emma Fortner said on Instagram, “I’m so proud of Elliott Page,” and “I want you to support your transgender lives every day while respecting your patience and privacy.” In addition, “Elliot’s existence is a gift in itself,” and “I love you so much” and expresses affection, adding to the shock.
