Park Myung-Hwan (44), a former professional baseball player, said, “I am not the former professional baseball player who raped an acquaintance in the karaoke room.” It seems that it is because it received attention by posting its name on the real-time search word on the portal site.
On the 25th, Park Myung-Hwan uploaded a video on his YouTube channel’Park Myung-Hwan Baseball TV’, saying’I’m not me, viewers.’ He said, “I am not the person named in the article,” he said. “The reason I broadcast is because people seem to misunderstand that I am.” This video has recorded more than 9,500 views as of 12:40 on the 26th.
He suggested a legal response to’evil comments’. Park Myung-Hwan emphasized that “I will take legal action against those who criticize me for a long time,” and “I will sue the bad guys through a lawyer.” At the same time, he said, “My family is also worried,” and said, “Please don’t swear at them.”
Park Myung-Hwan even clarified through his own mouth because the Suwon District Prosecutor’s Office announced that he had prosecuted former professional baseball player A without custody on the 31st of last month for forcibly harassing and raping his acquaintance at karaoke two times.
According to the prosecution, Mr. A is accused of sexually assaulting his acquaintance B, a woman, at a karaoke room in Hanam City, Gyeonggi-do around midnight on May 17 last year. Mr. A is also accused of injuring Mr. B in the course of the crime.
As it became known that Mr. A was a pitcher in Seoul and local clubs and also worked as a coach for a year in local clubs, the search word’Park Myung-hwan’ appeared on the portal site. Park Myung-hwan said, “I am not a sexual assaulter” on YouTube.
Park Myung-Hwan joined OB Bears (currently Doosan) in 1996 and worked as an assistant pitching coach in the 2nd NC team through LG Twins and NC Dinos.
