Myanmar military atrocities detained even four-year-old’where are your dad’

Myanmar’s military continues to shoot indiscriminately against innocent citizens, and the military’s inhumane atrocities are also being revealed one after another. After killing close to 50 children with guns, they even detain children under the age of 10 in order to catch an adult who is engaged in anti-military activities.

According to local media such as Myanmanau on the 7th, the Myanmar military police detained the family and six relatives of Ja Ray, the head of public affairs at the National League for Democracy and Peoples (NLD) in Bago two days ago, for about 15 hours. The NLD was the ruling party of the civilian government led by Suu Kyi Aung San. Now, Ray led the protests after the February 1 coup.

The military prosecuted him for violating preventive measures for the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) and meeting crowds, and he is on the run away from home. It is known that the military later pushed for surrender and pressured the family.

According to Ray, the military police came to the house more than six times, asked where he was, and urged him to embark. The unbearable wife also left her four-year-old daughter to her family and hid elsewhere.

Early in the morning of the 5th, Ray’s mother-in-law and brother-in-law were captured by the military police while taking their daughter to his mother. Among them, the media reported that three children were included: Za Ray’s four-year-old daughter, two-year-old niece, and his 13-year-old brother.

They were transferred to the police station, investigated, and transferred back to the military base. One relative said, “The children were terrified, but they kept asking where Zaray was.” He added, “They only released us when they realized that they really didn’t know about Zaray. This relative said, “Ja Ray’s daughter was already traumatized for being separated from her parents, and I am worried that she will suffer a greater trauma as she is arrested by the military police this time.”

After hearing the news of her daughter, Ray criticized Naue, Myanmar, saying, “There is no reason to arrest innocent children or take them anywhere. My daughter is too young.” “Even if they didn’t do anything, it caused psychological trauma by taking the children into an environment full of people in uniforms, unsuitable for children,” he added.

Local media reported that the military and police are holding onto their families and relatives to encourage the surrender of NLD members, protest leaders, and public officials who participated in the civil disobedience movement, which is the core of the anti-military movement. Molamin, Mon, also explained that the two elderly sons were detained for almost two weeks after the military failed to arrest a university professor who had participated in the civil disobedience movement.
