There are reports that a female caregiver in her 50s who received the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine had symptoms of paraplegia.
On the 11th, the Gyeongbuk Ilbo reported that nursing care worker A was showing symptoms of paraplegia after vaccination with the AZ vaccine, citing the Yeongyang-gun health center and the victim’s family.
Mr. A was vaccinated on the 4th at around 1:30 pm at the nursing home B, where he worked. He complained of difficulty breathing and fever 4 hours after vaccination and received emergency measures such as wearing an oxygen mask.
Subsequently, from the morning of the 5th, a fever and weakness in both legs appeared, and MRI was performed, but the cause was not found and he was admitted to Asan Hospital.
Her husband C said, “(Wife) was a healthy person with no normal pain.” I’m worried about listening,” he said.
Mr. A is not the first to show symptoms of paraplegia after vaccination with AZ.
Earlier on the 8th, a petition was posted on the Blue House National Petition Bulletin, saying,’I have doubts whether it is possible to recognize and compensate for adverse effects of the corona vaccine.’
Petitioner said, “My cousin brother is hospitalized because he has abnormal symptoms after vaccination against AstraZeneca coronavirus. He is a healthy man in his mid-20s. There was no luck.”
“I went to the emergency room the next morning because my cousin vaccinated at the hospital where I worked on the last 4 days, and suffered symptoms of vomiting and fever, and went to the intensive care unit on the 5th.” , Medically, I was diagnosed with a disease on the side of the brain or spinal cord.”
Petitioner’s cousin’s younger brother is now known to be unable to walk because his leg is weak.
