[마이데일리 = 창원 김진성 기자] “You don’t do it all year, right?”
Shinsoo Choo (SSG) has been interviewing almost every day starting on February 25th, when he entered Korea. At the time of the airport immigration interview, I was aware of the possibility of violating the quarantine rules, so I actually interviewed the reporters by phone. Since then, he has been conducting media interviews since the 11th, when he joined Busan after self-isolation.
Choo Shin-soo thanked the fans and the media for the enormous interest in him and expressed his intention to cooperate with the joint interview as much as possible with a heart of understanding. According to SSG officials, Shinsoo Choo
Has been interviewed at least once a day except for a day from the 11th.
On the 21st-22nd, where the 2nd straight match of the opening of the demonstration game was held, the Changwon NC match was no exception. Interviews were conducted on both the 21st and 22nd. It was also scheduled after the game on the 22nd. Shin-soo Choo said, “It’s my first time in this situation, but I understand it,” he said with a slight smile and said, “Isn’t it all year round?”
There seems to be a foreboding about this situation. “When I came to Korea, the part I was worried about was not playing baseball alone, but 25 to 26 players becoming one. But if I focus on only one, other players may feel uncomfortable, so I’m sorry. Fortunately, the players seem to understand.”
Other SSG players are also preparing for the 2021 season, working hard from the Jeju Spring Camp. Choo Shin-soo seems to be sorry for his colleagues and juniors that only himself is so illuminated. Baseball is both an individual sport and a team sport. Choo Shin-soo certainly seems to be a player with a mindset of caring for his colleagues.
