There is controversy that one of the family members has left the quarantine area while health authorities are checking whether a family member in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province, who was confirmed during self-isolation after entering the country from the UK, has been infected with the mutant virus.
Goyang City announced on the 29th that a man in his 80s who died on the 26th and three other members of his family were confirmed to be infected with the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19).
Regardless of the analysis results, in Goyang City, voices of concern about the spread of the mutant virus to the community are rising, and accusations are raised as it is known that one of these families once escaped from self-quarantine.
According to the city of Goyang, this family, who was living in the UK, was released on the 8th of last month by A, one of the family members, first entered the country and was tested for Corona 19 twice.
On the 13th of this month, the rest of the family entered the country and were in self-quarantine after receiving the first negative test.
However, controversy is arising as Mr. A stated that he went to the mart alone on the 24th with a mask during the epidemiological investigation process and went shopping for 30 minutes.
Mr. A was released from self-isolation, but it is known that he has been living with his family since he started self-isolation later.
According to the city of Goyang, Mr. A is known to have been extremely cautious of contact with the rest of his family at home during quarantine. However, as Mr. A was confirmed as well, external activities on the 24th were on the cutting board.
