A prototype spacecraft model of SpaceX, an American private space company led by Tesla founder Elon Musk, was the first to land on the 3rd (local time) but exploded.
Reuters and CNN reported that SpaceX’Starship SN10 (Serial Number 10)’ was launched from the Boca Chica launching base in Texas, USA at 5:15 pm on the same day, and successfully flew up to an altitude of 6 miles (approximately 10 km). .
The SN10 exploded three minutes after landing after flying.
The landing scene was broadcast live, and just before the explosion, the broadcast ended and there was no explanation for the cause.
SpaceX plans to test flight of the next prototype SN11 in the near future.
Previously, SpaceX test-launched the Starship prototype spacecraft on December 9 last year and 3rd last month, but exploded during landing.
The 120m Starship is a space rocket being developed by SpaceX to transport people and 100 tons of cargo to the Moon and Mars.
Earlier, Musk announced that Starship’s first orbital flight was scheduled at the end of this year, and signed a contract with Japanese billionaire Maezawa Yusaku Jojo Town to travel to the moon in 2023.
