A woman in her 40s who murdered her 8-year-old daughter who did not report birth was arrested by the police.
According to the police and courts on the 17th, the warrant of the Incheon District Court Justice Yoon So-hee issued a warrant saying, “There is a fear of fleeing” after conducting an interrogation (warrant substantive examination) of A (44) on the charge of murder on the same day.
Mr. A, wearing a black hat and a white mask, covered most of his face, and took a wheelchair and moved to the court of the warrant deliberation. He gave no answer to the reporter’s question, “Do you admit the charges?”
On the 8th, A is accused of blocking her daughter B (8) from breathing in a house in Michuhol-gu, Incheon city. He left his daughter’s body in the house for a week and then reported to 119 on the 15th, saying, “The child died.”
The police and fire departments who were dispatched after receiving the report forced to open the door and found Miss B and A who died when there was no reaction inside the house. At the time of discovery, it was found that Mr. A was trying to set a fire by collecting clothes, etc. on the bathroom floor.
A, who inhaled the smoke, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, and was arrested by the police immediately after discharge the day before.
It is said that Ms. B could not go to the daycare center or school because the birth notification was not made. Mr. A stated in the police, “I couldn’t report my daughter’s birth due to legal issues, and I was going to enroll her in school in March this year.” He said, “I was pessimistic about my life and killed my daughter and tried to make extreme choices.”
A is reported to have complained of a psychological shock after a recent separation after living with C, a common-law relationship, for several years without divorcing her husband. Mr. C is the father of Miss B, who died.
C was found dead in an apartment in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, after hearing the news of her daughter’s death and being investigated by the police. C’s cell phone notepad contained a message expressing sorry to his family.
