Colin Morikawa (USA), who won the World Golf Championship (WGC) Workday Championship (total prize money of $10.5 million), rose to fourth in the world rankings.

Morikawa recorded 8.1043 points in the men’s golf world rankings announced on the 1st (Korean time), and rose two places from last week to fourth place. The fourth place is Morikawa’s all-time high-ranking tie.

Morikawa reached the top of the WGC Workday Championship, which ended that day. He won the championship in 7 months after the PGA Championship, a major tournament in August last year.

There was no change from 1st to 3rd in the world ranking. Dustin Johnson (USA) maintained first place, while Jon Lam (Spain) and Justin Thomas (USA) ranked second and third respectively.

Lim Seong-jae (23, CJ Logistics) maintained the 17th place and maintained the highest ranking among Asian players. Kim Si-woo (26, CJ Logistics) rose one notch from 53rd to 52nd last week.
