Brazil’s novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) surpassed 4,000 deaths per day.

Experts pointed out that the nationwide shortage of intensive care unit beds is fueling an increase in the number of deaths. In Sao Paulo, the number of Corona 19 patients who died waiting for admission to the intensive care unit from the beginning of last month to now has reached 550. In Rio de Janeiro this year, about 300 patients died without receiving timely treatment while waiting for their turn to be admitted to the intensive care unit.

The average number of deaths per day per week peaked at 3,119 on the last day and continued to decline for four consecutive days until the previous day (2,698), but this day slightly increased.
