“Submit all data on request”
The production crew of TV Chosun Trot Contest Program’Mistrot’ Season 2 (hereinafter’Mistrot 2′) denied the suspicion of conducting an unfair audition recently raised.
The production crew issued a statement on the 3rd and said, “The production crew has the duty and responsibility to participate in all aspects of the program, from planning to program composition, editing, and so on.” The purpose only applies to auditions,” he explained.
He said, “We express our deep regret for the occurrence of acts that undermine the honor of the program through unfounded facts and reckless speculation.”
Earlier, the fact-finding committee composed of viewers of’Mistrot 2’filed a complaint with the Korea Communications Commission and urged them to conduct a full investigation, saying that the production team seems to have nominated the performers and finalists.
In response, the production team responded by saying, “I will submit all necessary data when requested by the Korea Communications Commission.”
The production crew said that Jin Sang-wi assisted in malicious comments towards children and youth performers. “After sufficient discussions with the minor participants and their guardians, the program was operated while thoroughly following the details of the’protection of rights and interests for minor entertainers, etc.’ I am doing it,” he refuted.
The production crew continued, “At an important crossroads of life, all participants and judges who compete with passion each time, the average viewership rate of 28% and the number of votes for the public support exceeded 10 million, representing the position of the former viewers who showed high interest. We will respond decisively to the spread.”
Lastly, he said, “I will do my best to reap the beauty of Yujong with my best efforts for the rest of the schedule, without losing my original intention to give pleasure by putting fairness and sincerity first.”
