Kia Motors unveiled the interior design and major convenience specifications of the 4th generation carnival on the 13th. It was designed with the concept of’infinite space utilization’ in consideration of the nature of the 4th generation carnival design minivan.
Kia Motors emphasized, “We designed the interior of the new carnival with the goal of providing the best space and value to users’ daily lives by adding a differentiated premium to the unrivaled space utilization.”
The interior was completed as a futuristic, high-tech space with a spaceship motif, and features a premium interior that feels comfortable and relaxed, and various convenience specifications that satisfy both the driver and passengers.
The driver’s seat is equipped with a panoramic display in the form of an integrated 12.3-inch cluster (instrument panel) and a 12.3-inch navigation system with advanced sensitivity to enhance visibility and convenience.The center fascia button has both a stylish design and convenient operation by implementing a touch method.
In particular, the’Ambient Light’ that creates a subtle atmosphere from the Krell 12-speaker premium sound system and the three-dimensional pattern garnish on the door handle provides a sense of emotional immersion.
The electronic shifting dial (SBW) with outstanding details has an excellent grip, and the integrated metal garnish with a slim air vent (air vent) that crosses the center of the crash pad maximizes luxury by harmonizing with the high-quality wood garnish at the bottom.
Kia Motors has generously packed consideration for passengers in the best-in-class leisurely space in Korea so that everyone on the 4th generation carnival can feel the comfort of staying in a premium lounge.
In the second row seats, the’Premium Relaxation Seat’, which provides the most comfortable posture for the occupants, is applied to realize the best sense of luxury like First Class.
The premium relaxation seat relieves the load concentrated on the hips and waist and reduces fatigue by making the user a floating position in a zero-gravity space at the push of a button.
In particular, space utilization was maximized by applying an expandable center console that considers second-row users in the new carnival.
The expandable center console, which has significantly increased storage space compared to the previous model, can be easily taken out from the bottom of the console box and used as a drawer if necessary, and the upper part of the storage space can be used as a table in occasions such as picnics or leisure activities.
In addition, an air conditioning filter was added to the rear seat space, allowing passengers to enjoy pleasant air anywhere in the spacious indoor space of the new carnival.
The size of the 4th generation carnival is 5155mm in length, 1995m in width, 1740mm in height, and 3090mm in wheelbase. Compared to the previous model, the overall length is 40mm, the width is 10mm, and the wheelbase is increased by 30mm, boasting the largest indoor space in its class.
A Kia Motors official said, “The 4th generation Carnival is equipped with the best new technology in its class, as well as a spacious and comfortable space, and is equipped with differentiated convenience.”
