Former Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon was beaten by claiming that the’v’ in’v1_2′ attached to the document file name for nuclear power plant construction in North Korea is used as an abbreviation for vip (President). The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy refuted that it knew that the meaning of’v’ was written as an abbreviation for the normal version, not for vip reporting.
Former Mayor Oh Se-hoon posted on his Facebook page on the 2nd, in an article titled’Why President Moon Jae-in must elucidate himself’, the file name ‘180514_North Korea Regional Nuclear Power Plant Construction Promotion Plan_v1.1.hwp’ and the prosecution’s Listening to the title of the document recorded in the complaint, ‘180616_Promotion Plan for Nuclear Power Plant Construction in North Korea_v1.2.hwp’, he argued that “obviously, the two files cannot but be seen as different as the title shows.” At the same time, Mayor Oh said, “And we have no choice but to pay attention to the initial’v’ in the title of the document.” “What does’v’ mean? “We know that we have often referred to the president as a vip.” “In the end, the parties will know what the’v’ is referring to and what it means within the government,” he wrote.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, which produced the document, refuted that it was not for reporting to the VIP (President), and that it was an initial used as a version. On the morning of the 3rd, a senior official from the Ministry of Industry said, “It cannot be for reporting that a lot of v is displayed in the list of deleted documents,” and “didn’t Oh Se-hoon said that he was mistaken?” through Media Today and SNS messenger.
The official replied, “Yes,” to the question, “So, does it mean that it was not written for VIP reporting?” In that case, in response to a query asking’What is the reason for using v’, the official said, “The author will know, but when writing a document, you need to indicate the version to know the flow. So it is common to use’v’.”

Another key official of the Ministry of Industry said on the media today, “If you are a central government official, there will be no officials who will agree with the story that the president is marked with v (which is also expressed as 1.1, 1.2 after the lowercase v?).” It’s common sense. Businesses and college students will also display v as a version.” He replied, “It is natural” to the question, “Is the meaning of v in the file written as an abbreviation for the version?”
In this regard, former Mayor Oh Se-hoon actually accepted the point that v should be seen as an abbreviation for version. Mayor Oh said in a post on’About v’posted on Facebook on the evening of the 2nd, “I received a lot of opinions that it is correct to see it as a version,” and said, “I am sorry for that part.”
Mayor Oh insisted, “It’s a pity that it has caused confusion in my position,” and said, “That doesn’t change the nature of the problem.” He said, “My position on the nuclear power plant aid to North Korea, that is, the request of the President to clarify the facts and resolve public doubts remains unchanged,” he said. “Because the essence of the problem is whether or not the President received the report of this document.” Insisted.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Industry has revealed that it has not reported to the Blue House a plan to build a nuclear power plant in North Korea.
