[에너지데일리 최일관 기자] The government will invest a total of 242.4 billion won this year with the goal of fostering 23,000 industrial innovation talents to advance into a leading industrial structure such as fostering new industries and digital transformation of the manufacturing industry.

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (Minister Sung Yun-mo) announced this year’s BIG 3 and other new industries with 4,4989 billion won, key industry innovation with 10.28 billion won, carbon neutrality and energy conversion with 48 billion won, and industry-academia cooperation and foundation building with 4,260 billion won. On the 20th, it was announced on the 20th that it will support 2442 billion won, an increase of 46% year-on-year, to foster industrial innovation talents in four fields, such as investing in

First of all, we will invest 4.9.59 billion won, an increase of 57.3% this year from 31.52 billion won in the previous year, to foster new industries such as BIG 3, focusing on nurturing talents who will support future growth engines.

According to this, in the case of systems and artificial intelligence semiconductors, where the demand for manpower is increasing, 8.34 billion won will be invested to nurture professional manpower at the master’s and doctoral level, while a new recruitment-linked contract department will be established for undergraduate students to focus on nurturing talent based on corporate demand. .

A new master’s and doctoral education course in the field of system semiconductor design is established (5.94 billion won), and 2.4 billion won is invested in the power semiconductor field, which is dependent on over 90% of income, to supply master’s and doctoral level manpower.

In addition, a new recruitment-linked contract department in Yonsei University, Korea University, and Sungkyunkwan University, where semiconductor companies support full scholarships, internships, practical training, and employment, will cultivate 150 bachelor’s personnel per year.

The next-generation system semiconductor design sector will invest 5.94 billion won this year, and the next-generation power semiconductors will invest 2.4 billion won, the same as the previous year.

To this end, Yonsei University will select 50 new students per year for the’Systems and Semiconductor Engineering Department’, Korea University will select’Semiconductor Engineering’ and 30 new students per year, and Sungkyunkwan University will select 70 students per year from the’Semiconductor Systems Engineering Department’ established in 2006.

In addition, the bio field, which is showing a high growth trend due to Corona 19, supports 7.6 billion won, which is more than doubled from the previous year. The bio field will invest a total of 7.6 billion won this year. Accordingly, in the case of the bio-convergence industry, a new master’s and doctoral education course was established (1.49 billion won), while short-term education for job seekers using GMP manufacturing facilities was expanded (30.2 → 59.6 billion won) for production and quality management and training of R&D personnel. do.

In the field of digital healthcare, it plans to promote education for current students and employees (200 million won) through the University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation without a hitch.

In the future car sector, where the transition to eco-friendly and self-driving cars is accelerating, it will invest 10.59 billion won, an increase of 75% from the previous year.

In the case of the eco-friendly car parts industry, a new master’s/doctoral education course will be established (1.66 billion won), and the training of master’s and doctoral level personnel in the autonomous driving software field will be continuously supported (650 million won).

In addition, for current and retirees related to internal combustion locomotives that are experiencing the employment crisis, a new investment of 2.88 billion won this year for smooth job transition to the future vehicle sector, and 720 technical manpower is produced annually through four base universities in each region. I plan to do it.

It will invest 10.28 billion won, an increase of 86.3% from 53.8 billion won in the previous year, to innovation in key industries such as the digital new deal.

According to this, 71.3 billion won will be provided to nurture talents who will lead the digital new deal, such as digital transformation of the manufacturing industry, DNA fusion of major industries, and the spread of smart industrial complexes.

In order to promote the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry, a new AI training program for incumbent employees, such as executives and technical personnel, will be established.

In order to recognize the need for digital transformation first, and to cultivate talented people who will lead innovation in companies, a new executive-level AI training program was established (1.5 billion won, 500 people), and in the case of technical manpower who will implement digital transformation, five industries were selected to -New AI convergence education course (5 billion won, 1,250 people)

In order to promote the use of data, 5G, and AI in the product development and process stages, the new master’s and doctoral courses in “AI, robots, human and machine collaboration” and “data analysis-based electronic manufacturing” were established in a total of 12 fields of 298,000 billion. Invest 10,000 won.

In addition, it plans to promote smart industrialization by expanding the smart manufacturing process and education in specialized industries for each industrial complex (147 → 35 billion won, ↑138%) through universities between industrial complexes, and to produce 2,070 core talents specialized in local industries each year.

In the case of materials, parts, and equipment, which are the basis for the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry, KRW 28.9 billion is supported, an increase of 60% from the previous year.

Newly established training for reinforcement of technical competence for incumbent and retirees (small manager 3.6 billion won, root 1.5.3 billion won) to cultivate 1,100 working-level workers per year, and expand support for master’s and doctoral education programs (98.80 billion won → 14.97 billion won) to nurture advanced human resources We plan to invest heavily in

In the Green New Deal and carbon-neutral sector, it invests 48 billion won, an increase of 23.3% compared to 38.9 billion won last year.

Accordingly, in order to cultivate experts in the energy field to support the Green New Deal and carbon neutrality, 3210 professional manpower is nurtured annually by investing 4,280 million won in areas with high demand for manpower by companies such as new energy industries (solar power, hydrogen). Aim.

In addition, a new investment of 2.8 billion won this year to prepare for the reduction of the employment market in the nuclear field and to smoothly advance into the future nuclear field such as dismantling, safety, and radiation, internships for majors (112 people per year) and career transition training for retirees (annually) 300 people), etc.

It is investing 42.6 billion won, an increase of 7% this year from 41.4 billion won last year, in industry-academia cooperation and infrastructure building.

For the on-site demand-based university education, industry-academia cooperation will be reinforced, and workforce training projects related to industrial infrastructure construction such as test certification and trade advancement will be expanded.

The connection between engineering education and industrial sites will be strengthened through the support of hands-on engineering education programs that reflect the demands of the industry, and field-oriented education will be expanded by attracting university campuses and corporate research institutes to the industrial complex.

In order to promote the commercialization of innovative technologies, we will cultivate working manpower in the field of testing and certification (3.1 billion won), and to revitalize exports, we will invest 4 billion won in fostering specialized trade manpower and FTA-specialized manpower.
