Kwon Min-ah, a former member of the group’AOA’, revealed that he was raped in middle school.
On the 7th, Kwon Minah revealed that she had been raped by a male senior in middle school through her Instagram live broadcast.
Kwon Min-ah explained, “When I was in school in Busan, my family was difficult and life was difficult.”
He said, “My brothers who did bad things to me in Busan, my friend uncle, who I knew, criticized me.”
He said, “I thought (that uncle) went to a security company, but he was a scary person.” The perpetrators also apologized to me.”
Kwon Min-ah also confessed that it was mentally difficult because of’AOA’ Jimin who harassed her.
Kwon Min-ah said, “I came to Seoul as if I was running to live a new life, but I had a lot of part-time jobs, so I didn’t have any physical difficulties because of my schedule. All of them were mentally ill,” said Kwon Min-ah. Because of that, there was trauma in the song, appearance, and body,” he said.
“The doctor told me that the police had heard it. I heard that I shouted’Shin Ji-min’ in a state of lack of mind. How long would it have been if I had reached the limit?” he expressed frustrated feelings.
He stressed, “I really can’t forgive, I don’t intend to forgive. I don’t want to take revenge. But if you touch me again, I don’t intend to stay still. If you are a perpetrator, you have to admit what you have done.”
Kwon Min-ah confessed that he had left the team and even made extreme attempts due to bullying by Jimin, who was the leader at the time of his AOA activities in July of last year. Afterwards, Jimin withdrew from AOA and ceased activities.
