Microsoft Expands Xbox Game Pass Portfolio With Bethesda Acquisition

Microsoft announced that it has completed its acquisition of ZeniMax Media, which owns Bethesda Softworks, a renowned game publisher.

Upon closing this acquisition, Microsoft absorbed eight game developers under the Zenimax Media. Developers joining Xbox Game Studios include Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, ZeniMax Online Studios, Arkane, Machine Games, and Tango GameWorks. Gameworks, Alpha Dog and Roundhouse Studios.

Xbox users can enjoy more Bethesda games through the Xbox Game Subscription Service Xbox Game Pass, and title updates will begin this week. In addition, some titles to be released in the future will be offered exclusively on Xbox consoles and PCs.
