Reporter Kwon Hyeok-jin = Korean-American professional golfer Michelle Wie (32) was angry at the remarks of sexual harassment by former New York mayor Rudolph Giuliani (77).

Former Mayor Giuliani recently appeared on a podcast and introduced a round with Michelle Wie at a charity golf event in 2014.

In the process, former Mayor Giuliani made a’underwear remark’ in question, referring to Michelle’s position of putt. “When I put on, I could see all my underwear from behind.”

It seemed to be intended to explain the fact that the paparazzi crowded and photographed Michelle intensively, but the’underwear remarks’ was not a necessary part. Former Mayor Giuliani also recognized that there was a problem with her speech, but it was spilled.

Michelle Wie immediately showed displeasure. In a statement, Michelle Wie complained, “At that time, my putting posture was to improve my performance, not to look at my skirt.”

“What he should remember is the fact that I hit all the male golfers by hitting 64 and led our team to victory.” .

Michelle Wie also pointed out that “the topic to be discussed is not the looks or clothes of the female players, but our skill level.”

The American Golf Association (USGA) issued a statement of support for Michelle Wie.

Former Mayor Giuliani served as Mayor of New York from January 1994 to December 2001. Since April 2018, he has been a lawyer for former US President Donald Trump. Currently, it is known that he is not actively involved in a lawsuit involving former President Trump.
