It is necessary to strengthen support as well as official management and supervision of the entire adoption process.”

In this regard, the government announced that it is seeking ways to increase and improve the number of visits to adoptive families, and on the 5th, it was presided over by Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun and at the emergency related ministers’ meeting in response to child abuse attended by Deputy Prime Minister Yu Eun-hye and Minister of Welfare Kwon Deok-cheol Countermeasures such as strengthening

President Moon’s remarks and the government measures that followed were in the form of pointing out the inadequate follow-up management of adopted children as the root cause of the’Jung Ini case’.
