[아시아경제 김봉주 기자] Hollywood star Elliot Page, who has transitioned to a male, recently revealed that she had undergone a breastctomy.

Page stood as the cover model for Time magazine, a US current affairs weekly magazine on the 16th (local time). He confessed his feelings as a male transsexual in an interview with Time magazine.

“I’m really excited about reaching this point in my life,” said Page. “It’s a mixture of fear and anxiety, on the other hand.”

Page said, “After coming out of transgender people, I saw a variety of reactions,” he said. “I heard a lot of love and support, but at the same time I had to endure tremendous hatred and transgender hatred words.”

According to Time magazine, on the day Page came out, he had more than 400,000 new followers on Instagram.

“The very influential people (about transgender people) are saying harmful things,” Paige said. “But transgender people are really real.”

“I remember the vivid joys I felt after cutting my hair short when I was 9,” he said. “When I was 10 years old as a child actor, I had to grow my hair and dress up as an actress. I never admitted myself. For a long time, my photos I couldn’t even see it,” he confessed.

Page also revealed that he had recently had a breast removal surgery. “Surgery focused on making the chest look more masculine. It removed unnecessary tissue to become a man,” he said. “A woman’s body was always uncomfortable, but now she is full of energy. Surgery not only changed my life, but also changed my life,” he said. I also saved my life,” he emphasized.

“I was able to come to my current position thanks to the privilege (as an actor). I want to use that privilege to help transgender people in a way that I can.”
