Lee Na-eun, 22, a member of the group April, who raised suspicion of school violence following the bullying controversy among members, got off at the SBS drama’Exemplary Taxi’.
Studio S, the production company of’Exemplary Taxi’, announced on the 8th, “The production team decided to replace actor Na Eun Na, who was scheduled to appear in the main role in consultation with the agency.”
The production company said, “We ask for your understanding that the announcement of the position was delayed due to sufficient public opinion on the current situation and casting of alternative roles,” he said.
The production company said, “The filming of’Exemplary Taxi’ is in progress for about 60% of the total, but the amount of the actors appearing will be re-shooting with new actors.” The actor who will replace Lee Na-eun has not yet been announced.
After Actor Jisoo, who was accused of being a school violence perpetrator, got off at the KBS drama’River River’, Lee Na-eun also disappeared from the drama she was scheduled to appear on.
Earlier, it was claimed that April’s member Lee Hyun-joo, who left the team in 2016, was harassed by other members. In addition, Lee Na-eun was suspected of being a school violence perpetrator when she was in school.
After the revelation, Dongsuh Foods Post and Muhak Soju stopped advertising in which Lee Na-eun appeared, and the production team of SBS entertainment “Plaza of Taste” also edited and broadcasted the appearance of Lee Na-eun.
In this regard, the agency DSP explained that “you cannot divide anyone into a perpetrator or a victim” in relation to bullying among members, and to Lee Na-eun’s suspicion of school violence, it predicted a legal response by saying that it was “a false fact without grounds”.
