Park Ji-sung is expected to join the K-League for the first time. Just as an administrator, not a player.

On the 18th, the media Sports Seoul reported that Park Ji-sung will be active as an administrator in Jeonbuk, borrowing from an official from Jeonbuk Hyundai of the K-League club.

Park Ji-Sung will be in charge of overall business checks and advice on the management and technology parts of the club in Jeonbuk Hyundai.

This is the first time Park Ji-sung appears in the K-League. During his active career, he played in overseas leagues such as Japan (Tokyo Purple Shopping Center), Netherlands (PSV Eindhoven), and England (Manchester United QPR).

Park Ji-sung, who retired from active duty in 2014, passed the 2016 International Football Federation (FIFA) Master Course and received administrative training for 10 months. The FIFA Master Course is a soccer administration education course run by the Swiss International Football Research Center.

Park Ji-Sung spent a total of three semesters at Leicester De Montfort University in England, SDA Bocconi Management School in Milan, Italy, and Neuchatel University in Switzerland and completed the course in July 2017.

After completing the education, Ji-Sung Park has been an advisor to the International Football Council (IFAB) since July 2017, and has been the head of the Youth Strategy Division of the Korea Football Association in November 2017. In 2018, he served as a commentator for the Russian World Cup at SBS.
