Amid the emergence of new coronavirus infections (Corona 19) related to the Yuseong-gu Day Care Center and the Church in Dong-gu, the city of Daejeon has called for participation in strengthening special quarantine measures during the year-end and New Year holidays.

Daejeon Mayor Hur Tae-jeong explained through an online non-face-to-face briefing.

An administrative order prohibiting gatherings from 0:00 on the 24th to 12:00 p.m. on January 3, 2021 is applied.

For high-risk facilities such as nursing hospitals and mental hospitals, a diagnostic examination for workers is required every two weeks, and access by outsiders is controlled. Private gatherings of workers are prohibited.

Regarding religious facilities, step 2.5 was extended and face-to-face worship was prohibited and only non-face-to-face worship was allowed. Various gatherings and meals were also completely prohibited.

In celebration of Christmas and the year-end and New Year holidays, private gatherings, parties, and travel and tourism are also minimized.

It is strongly recommended that private gatherings, dinners, and parties of 5 or more are prohibited, and meetings of 5 or more are prohibited in restaurants.

Movie theaters will stop operating after 9 PM, and department stores and large marts are obligated to check the heat when entering. Tasting and tasting are prohibited.

Winter sports facilities such as ski resorts, snow sledding rinks, and skating rinks are prohibited nationwide.

In order to minimize travel and tourism, reservations for accommodation facilities are restricted to 50% or less, and accommodation for guests exceeding the number of guests in the room is also prohibited.

Year-end and New Year events such as sunrise and sunset are prohibited, and major tourist attractions and national and public parks are closed.
