The judges pointed out that “the student was used for their sexual satisfaction,” and then emphasized that “they also threatened to fail. It was an act beyond meanness.”

At the first trial in September last year, Barber was convicted of sending naked photos to students, but was acquitted of charges of having an inappropriate relationship. This is because the student denied having sex at the first trial in September last year.

However, as a result of a police investigation, Barber was found to have silenced the victim, claiming to be pregnant with the student’s child.
