Manchester City Pep ahead of Liverpool “We are not the top scorer, but we move as a team”

Pep Guardiola, who is heading Manchester City (Man City), made an interesting remark before a confrontation with rival Liverpool.

Man City will play Liverpool in Round 23 of the 2020-21 English Premier League (EPL) at 1:30 a.m. on the 8th. It is a game of interest because of the conflict between the two teams in the top ranks.

Man City is ranked first in the league with 14 wins, 5 draws and 2 losses (47 points). Even though no player is explosively scoring goals, his performance is good. German midfielder Ilkay Kwon Dogan (30), who is tied for 14th in the league scoring by seven goals, is the team’s top scorer.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are behind Manchester City with 11 wins, 7 draws and 4 losses (40 points), but they still have a clear goalkeeper. Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah (28) is the sole leader in the league scoring rankings with 15 goals.

However, Guardiola said in an interview with Manchester City’s own channel’Manchester TV’ on the 7th, “If someone talks about personal statistics this season, we are far from the best team. But the power of the whole team is really good. So, we I think it’s ahead of Liverpool.”

Coach Guardiola also said, “Individual play is important, but it is also important to have perfection as a team. We believe in each other and we know that we will win.”
